Thank you for your interest in my knives. I design my own knives and create them using the stock-removal method which is basically the profiling and grinding of a length of steel to produce a blade. Every part of the knife making process is completed by me in my shop right down to the heat treating and tempering of the steel and Rockwell hardness testing of each blade.
I am currently using CTS-XHP, CPM-154 and RWL-34 stainless steels, A2 tool steel, and 10 series carbon steels, Damascus, and other steels upon request. My blades are either hollow or flat ground with a hand-rubbed satin finish. Your choice of handle materials is almost endless, but mostly consists of exotics, stabilized woods, stag, G10, and micarta. I personally dye and/or stabilize most of the woods I use so if you have your own favorite wood, I can make it suitable for use on your next knife. Every knife created receives a custom designed and fitted sheath created by my wife, Amy Novinc, who has become quite an accomplished leather craftsman. All of my knives are warrantied for life and by that, I mean your life or my life. When I die, all bets are off. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferrable to subsequent owners of my knife.
